So, you're saying I should buy silver? 😉
Is there a good book on the fundamentals out there you would recommend for beginner copywriters?
Great story! Never heard that one... definitely a surprising result!
This is done in journalism a lot too, for different reasons. It helps protect the journalist/company from lawsuits, for one.
Really what conditional words seem to do is give the reader a sense of authenticity. And then when you use statements without conditions it 'can' make them even stronger.
People read because of intrigue. If you “give it all away” in the headline there is less of a chance they’ll dive deeper to find the WHY. Great point and something I haven’t seen articulated this way before. *** Also, I would be curious to see how this performs view count wise vs. the text based longform stuff. I suspect it will be higher due to visuals and dwell time. Let’s see!
Pure gold, thanks, Eddie. 🤜🤛
