Demand Curve. I help serious founders become UNIGNORABLE. 100,000 founders read my startup growth newsletter.
It took 1 month to waitlist 2250 people for 127 spots. It sold out in 6 minutes. Learn the step-by-step playbook on how we did it: #marketing
I signed up for the course, Neal. I've launched dozens of info-product courses online over the years, and was happy to see a good product launch come into the B2B marketing space. I set a calendar reminder, and was ready to buy when the cart opened. Not because of the various psychological triggers used in the launch (though those speed action), but because of the trust yourself and Katelyn have established over the past few years. I saw the number in the Google doc counting ramping up, and the available seats on the sales page ramping down rapidly. I can confirm that the 6 minutes is completely accurate. Honestly - most people love to BUY. And most people hate being SOLD TO. Create buying processes that people can enjoy, and they'll keep coming back.
Found the novelty piece particularly interesting - was the google doc really a selling point that supported your success? My suspicion is that this move was net neutral or even negative - but your incredible domain expertise and broader marketing materials drove it forward despite the google doc. That said, LOVE your guys content and thank you for sharing this! I was on the waitlist myself and didn't get in in time :D
It was destined to happen. I noticed the key word "un-ignorable" multiple times and it was growing on me until the program was announced. A case study that should be taught in marketing schools.
Neal, this was a masterclass in marketing selling, and demand generation. You should do a course on how you built it and sell that. Chapeau! 🎩
Wow bro great thread/carousel
I totally missed the second wave to get one of the 127 🤦🏾♂️ will there be any more spots open up?
6 minutes must be the new world record or something 😂
This post makes me so happy 🥰
