Ever heard of the "pratfall effect"? It's the idea that we tend to prefer things that aren't perfect, like job candidates who share a weakness in an interview. In a study by Professor Jo Sylvester at Swansea University, candidates who highlighted a weakness during an interview were more likely to be hired than those who didn't. But don't just take their word for it - I tested it out myself by running two ads on Reddit. One ad highlighted how great my show was, while the other said it was crap. The results? The "crap" ad was 4x more effective and cost the same as the "great" ad. So, next time you're promoting something, consider highlighting your flaws instead of only focusing on the positives. The pratfall effect might just work in your favor. #marketingtips Follow my newsletter for more tips like this: https://buff.ly/3P7Ti9q

The control version sounds like a press release. Or like 90% of B2B home pages, landing pages, and social posts, out there. Something ChatGPT might come up with. The pratfall variant sounds like something a sarcastic human with tongue-in-cheek might come up with. They way a friend might talk. One who isn't trying to shoe-horn you into a sales funnel. I'll go with the more human version, please.

Hey Phill. Your pratfall variant isn't a prattfall variant. You are highlighting the benefits of your podcast. There is no negative in it at all.
