I see some product/tech teams territorial that site/app experience is their realm and marketers limiting their role to awareness and traffic generation. But when I was at DoorDash, we built a pod blended with folks from growth marketing + growth product (and eng) and unlocked a ton of value by holistically addressing customer pain points. This showed up in the product touchpoints as well as marketing touchpoints like landing pages, CRM, and ads. It's the way to go.
